The Out of Province Inspection is a government-required test for used vehicles coming into a new province.

The purpose of the inspection is to ensure your vehicle meets the safety and vehicle equipment standards of the province. The inspection must be conducted in a licensed facility, by a technician licensed by the Vehicle Inspection Program to perform Out of Province Inspection.
